Foresters in the Allgäu region presented to interested citizens during a guided tour on the Fellhorn how climate change affects the upper height limit of trees and how they can document these changes themselves as “Citizen Scientists” with the BAYSICS app while hiking.
As part of the BAYSICS sub-project 8 “Record tree boundaries yourself”, multipliers were trained who are professionally active in forestry, environmental education or nature conservation and now offer guided tours with the BAYSICS app themselves.
