The Bavarian minister of environment, Thorsten Glauber, has reactivated the climate council, whose function it is to scientifically support the Bavarian state government in matters concerning the climate. Prof. Dr. Harald Lesch (LMU Munich), Prof. Dr. Karin Pittel (ifo-Zentrum für Energie, Klima und erschöpfbare Ressourcen) and Prof. Dr. Jörg Völkel (TU Munich) remain members of the climate council. New members in this interdisciplinary council are Barbara Scheitz (Andechser Molkerei), Marcus Steuerer (Infra Fürth GmbH) and Dr. Johannes Gnädinger (Prof.-Schaller-Umweltconsult GmbH).
