On 23.11.2021 our brand new online talk series KLIMADISKURSE starts, initiated by the junior research groups of bayklif, the Bavarian climate research network. On six different dates each month, high-profiled scientist and speakers from all areas of public life will give impulses and start a discussion with an open panle. Everyone is invited to join in these events!
The kick-off will be a joint event of the Junge Akademie and bayklif on Nov. 23, 2021 at 6 p.m. entitled “An die Wurzeln. Warum wird nicht entschieden, was nötig wäre?” Bernd Ulrich, deputy editor-in-chief of the weekly newspaper Die ZEIT and co-author of “Noch haben wir die Wahl” (together with Luisa Neubauer, Fridays for Future) will discuss the question of why the global challenges of our time are not being handled in order to solve the climate crisis.
All events in the series will take place online via ZOOM.
