The kick-off of the “Water Controversies” dialogue forum (Dialogforum Wasserkontroversen) organized by the Aquaklif project as part of the Bavarian Network for Climate Research bayklif took place in a hybrid format on May 20. During the panel discussion, four experts in the Audimax of the University of Bayreuth and two connected panelists from the perspectives of research, water management, agriculture and nature conservation discussed the topic “Low water in streams and rivers”. With more than 120 participants at the screens, the resonance was quite remarkable, even beyond Bavaria. The number of the public questions was even more exceptional.
